This course is suitable for Healthcare Professionals who are involved with ECG Interpretation and requires the knowledge and skills to undertake cardiac rhythm interpretation and the administration of emergency medications.

The purpose of this course is to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills in relation to cardiac rhythm interpretation to learn the foundations for ECG interpretation confidently. This course also helps healthcare professionals develop confidence in administering emergency medications. This course focuses on essential theory and practical approach to facilitate skill application.

The Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) accredits this education program for 7 Category 1, Continuous Medical Education (CME) hours.

Infection Control Fundamentals

• This course is intended for nurses and other healthcare professionals looking for a basic review of infection control practices.
• In this course, they will be able to discuss the principles of infection control, Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI).
• Prevention and management of infections in Healthcare Workers, identify and discuss the links in the Chain of Infection.
• Describe and demonstrate proper hand hygiene, identify and discuss Standard Precaution, demonstrate the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and describe the different decontamination methods

Heartsaver CPR teaches CPR and relief of choking for adults and children. The course is made for individuals who must respond to medical emergencies as part of their job. The course is also for those in the community who wish to have a CPR course completion card. Infant CPR and choking can be included in this class.

Heartsaver AED teaches CPR, relief of choking and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use for adults and children. This course is made for individuals who must respond to medical emergencies as part of their job and those in the community who wish to have a CPR course completion card. Infant CPR and choking can be included in this class.

Heartsaver First Aid teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. There are separate classes for adult and pediatric (child) first aid.

BLS Healthcare Providers course content includes one and two-person CPR, techniques for relief of choking, use of airway barrier devices, bag-mask ventilation and an AED.
